Can I redact phone numbers, addresses, or names from the PDF?

What is Bates numbering and do I need it?
Bates numbering is a sequential reference printed on every page (e.g. EXHIBIT-A-0001, EXHIBIT-A-0002). It is standard practice in legal document production so any party can cite a specific page unambiguously. If you are using the PDF in a court submission, employment tribunal, or any formal legal context, Bates numbering is expected and is included on the Pro plan.
